GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 151300
language settings changes not memorized
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
edit menu -> preferences -> language I've french as first choice here and english as second. I was just trying to get the english version of a website so: * selected english at the bottom of the list * press the up button => english is on the top of the list before french * close the dialog by pressed the Close button * refresh => the page is always in french * open the dialog again => english is in the bottom of the list, the change is not kept (with epiphany 1.3.7, mozilla 1.7.2)
Can you monitor the key "/apps/epiphany/web/language" in gconf-editor, and the pref "intl.accept_languages" in about:config while editing or reordering the list in the preferences dialogue? The changes should be reflected in the pref and in gconf in real-time.
ok, the gconf key change but the about:config -> "intl.accept_languages" not I'm pretty sure it's the same problem I've with the panel: the dynamic changes are really often broken and it seems to affect my whole GNOME: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=148028 What do you think ?
