GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 150553
Module computer:// should display the burn:// module as a Icon.
Last modified: 2006-07-09 11:39:40 UTC
When I use any gnome-application, and want to save the file for burning, I have to save the file (e.g. to ~/) AND additionally move it to burner://. That's very unusual. It would be more user-friendly to save the file directly to burner://. You can add a burner:// icon to computer://. (Of course only if gnome-file-selector uses computer://).
Thanks for your bug report! I wonder how this could be implemented. Can we expose the burn:/// URI as a drive/media? At least for non-local file selectors, adding a server connection to burn:/// seems to work, although it is a bit unorthodox.
Are you OK with the current solution? The burn location is available in the "Places" menu of the panel.
