Description Žygimantas Beručka 2004-08-13 16:31:45 UTC
Distribution: Debian 3.1
Package: gnome-panel
Severity: minor
Version: GNOME2.6.1 2.7.x
Gnome-Distributor: Debian
Synopsis: Screenshot utility doesn't work when menus are open
Bugzilla-Product: gnome-panel
Bugzilla-Component: Panel
Bugzilla-Version: 2.7.x
Description:
Description of Problem:
I've tried to make a screenshot of Evolution's emoticons menu and show
it to a friend, but I was disappointed to find out that I cannot make
it. I have a keybing of window screenshot on Ctrl-Shift-F11 and a
keybinding of whole screen on Ctrl-Shift-F12. None of them work. Then I
tried to do this in few other programs, but no luck there as well.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Make a keybinding of screenshot.
2. Open any menu in any program.
3. Trie to grab a screenshot with that keybinding.

Actual Results:
Doesn't make a screenshot.

Expected Results:
It should make a screenshot.

How often does this happen?
Every time you try to make a screenshot with menus open.

Additional Information:
GNOME is from Debian experimental.
