Description Erik Ronström 2004-08-10 12:09:11 UTC
Description of Problem:

I have the standard setup of a window list at a
bottom panel (to the left) and a workspace manager
on the same panel (to the right).

If I have, say, 5 windows, there are 5 buttons on
the Window List. However, they are gathered tight
together to the left so that there is not enough
room to display their titles - even though there
is plenty of space to the right. The buttons could
easily have been double size, but they aren't.

Interesting thing is when I bring up the
preferences for the workspace manager, the buttons
of the window list spaces out correctly, but as
soon as I close the prefs dialog, they shrink to
their former diminished shapes.

I also have this problem and find it to be dependent on the length of the text
which occupies the buttons. Particularly annoying when I'm running a script in a
terminal and the title changes rapidly, making the buttons jump all over the place.

Moving to the right component. Sorry for the spam.
