GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 148275
maximize vertical on xinerama primary right display does maximize vertical and maximize
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
I've got an NVidia twin view xinerama setup with the primary CRT on the right and a DFP on the left. If I use my maximize vertical key binding on a gnome terminal on the left screen it works fine but if I do it on the right screen, it maximizes vertical and then seems to add a toggle maximize so the window is full screen. If I do toggle maximize, it is then just maximized vertical. This happens on my setup at work and at home. They are essentially the same setup. It could be NVidia related but I don't have the equipment to test it on a non-nvidia dual head setup.
I haven't the slighest idea what you're talking about. Maybe a screenshot?
When I maximize vertical a window on the primary screen, it is maximized completely. If I then unmaximize it, it is maximized vertical. It metacity, maximize vertical is a non stateful action and maximize is a stateful one. It appears that both operations are being done. It works fine on the secondary display. I don't think a screen shot of a maximized window is going to help.
I created a dupe of this bug report today... oops. With patch: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=154030
