GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 147265
On dragging a volume to Trash, the warning dialog doesn't have a button to eject volume
Last modified: 2011-09-13 10:06:21 UTC
This is mostly a usability bug. When you try to drag a CD or other removable media device from the desktop to the trash (with the intention of ejecting it - folks used to MacOS will most likely do this a lot), Nautilus pops up a dialog box saying : "You cannot delete a volume icon If you want to eject the volume, please use Eject in the right-click menu of the volume [ OK ] " This bug requests an [ Eject ] button to be added to this dialog box so that the user can avoid doing something that Nautilus suspected you were trying to do anyway. I personally think this is a very sensible thing to have. Added the 'usability' and 'screenshot' keywords.
