Description of Problem:
On startup, the splash screen persists on login, hanging on 'Nautilus.'
It persists up to several minutes before going away spontaneously. But
it also goes away when the mouse is clicked on the area of the splash
screen.

Steps to reproduce the problem:

Expected Results: 
Splash screen should go away a few secs after loggin in (at the most).

How often does this happen?
Every login.

Additional Information:
I just upgraded to the new debian sid 2.6.2 gnome packages. 2.6.1 worked
fine.

The splash screen is not a part of nautilus but of gnome-session...
