Description Ville Pohjanheimo 2004-06-11 17:54:16 UTC
The rhytmbox browser's this-song-is-playing-column does not seem to contribute
much, but only waste screen estate, and could easily be replaced with a more
visual colored line or bold+italic-text -scheme.
Comment 1 William Jon McCann 2005-12-19 19:02:31 UTC
Using boldface still sounds like a good idea.

Just noting that this column is also used to indicate playback errors. There are some plans to use it for other things too:

I would very much like to be able to be able to disable/enable this column just like any other column in Edit->Preferences->Visable Columns.

How skilled would one have to be to make such patch?
Comment 3 Pavel Šefránek 2008-03-27 16:55:40 UTC
Can we close this? I cannot see any "this-song-is-playing-column" in 0.11.5 version.
Comment 4 Amadeus 2008-03-27 19:50:33 UTC
This is the info you are asking for.

"this-song-is-playing-column" is the column to the left with the speaker icon in the header.

It is still present in 0.11.5

Comment 5 Pavel Šefránek 2008-03-28 15:30:26 UTC
Ah, thanks. Yes it is still there.
