Description Erik Ronström 2004-06-10 12:02:34 UTC
When I start Gnome, the splash screen remains on top of all apps until clicked
at. This happens every time I start Gnome, but only since a couple of days. It
used to disappear automatically.

I can confirm this bug is still occurring, now on my Debian sid system with each
login, and only since I upgraded from 2.6.1 -> 2.6.2. Same behavior; once it is
clicked it vanishes but until then it remains on top of everything.
Comment 2 Gabriel B. 2004-07-13 12:29:38 UTC
Happens here too. Slackware 10.0 all default. I belive it's gnome 2.6.2 with
lots of things from 2.6.3. My about-window in nautilus says 2.6.3.
The behaviour is the same. on the first days, all worked right. Now, the splash
just lay there, waiting to be clicked.
Any more info needed? I don't know what to attach...
