Description Eugenia Loli-Queru 2004-05-18 22:21:39 UTC
I found that the "create archive" option on the nautilus context menu *only
works* when you have selected either folders or existing archives (!). When I
select normal files (one or more), it simply doesn't work, it doesn't open the
little popup window to ask me if I want to create an archive.

The correct behavior would be to archive files selected as well (without
including their folder heriarchy).

I am also experiencing this problem with DroplineGnome 2.6.1. I can, however,
use file-roller -d <filename\s> from a terminal, recieve the "Create Archive"
dialog, and create an archive just fine.
