Description Jesir Vargas 2004-05-17 07:37:24 UTC
In Nautilus 2.6, folders "remember" their size and position. Could it be done
that all program windows "remember" that too?

To reproduce it:

1. Open a folder.
2. Resize it and move it.
3. Open a program (say, Totem)
4. Resize it and move it.
5. Close both.
6. Reopen both.

Folder remembers, program window doesn't.

This is a session management thing that apps have to support. As it stands
metacity already supports apps that remember their sizes and positions.

There's another bug in here aleady with some old code to implement remembering
window state in the WM.
