Gnome panel 2.7.1 
1. Drag any desktop item and drop it on to the panel 
 
Expected result: The item should be added on to the panel. 
 
Actual result: The Item is not added. 
 
This happens always

The desktop items esp. Computer, Recycle Bin,.. can't be dragged and dropped. 
If i drag a menu item and drop it on to the desktop, and then from desktop to 
panel, its getting added.

I'm not sure if this is a Desktop bug or panel bug..
