Description Luis Villa 2004-05-04 21:00:49 UTC
When you right click on a folder, you get 'open' and 'browse', which are the
same thing when in spatial mode. It would be nice to merge them in that case,
and use only one term or the other.

not in spatial mode/
Comment 2 Christian Neumair 2004-07-21 19:22:04 UTC
Weird. A patch (2003-10-07) from Dave Camp states "Use Browse Folder in spatial
windows and Open in New Window in navigation windows.". Also, I can't repdocuce
the reported behavior. You didn't specify a version either. Evil Luis ;).
Still an issue?

regs,
 Chris
Comment 3 Karel Demeyer 2004-08-21 16:01:36 UTC
"Browse Folder" should open the navigation-window IMO.
Comment 4 Matthew Gatto 2004-11-04 07:32:03 UTC
In response to comment 2, I can't reproduce what Luis describes either. Luis,
can you confirm it works correctly now?
Comment 5 Sebastien Bacher 2005-01-03 21:29:07 UTC

Comment 6 Luis Villa 2005-01-04 03:03:13 UTC
I suck. This appears to be fixed in 2.9.

This bug still seems to be present in Gnome 2.28.1 since I can reproduce this bug in Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic Koala).
Comment 9 Martin Mai 2010-05-08 13:05:41 UTC
This is still a problem for folders on the desktop with nautilus 2.30.1
