updated my build environment 5/4/2004 - 9:30am CDT
building gnome 2.6 using JHBUILD. It fails with the error:
kiosrc.cpp:25:23: kdemacros.h: No such file or directory

This should be fixed now. I added an explicit check for kdemacros.h in configure.
If it still happens, I'd tend to blame your distro for installing a wrong
kde-config :)
