Distribution: Debian testing/unstable Package: control-center Severity: critical Version: GNOME2.6. 2.6.x Gnome-Distributor: GNOME.Org Synopsis: Selecting a custom default web browser impossible Bugzilla-Product: control-center Bugzilla-Component: Preferred applications Bugzilla-Version: 2.6.x Description: Description of Problem: When I select a custom web browser in the Preferred Applications dialog, the settings does not get saved when opening the dialog again. None of the radio-buttons are selected, i.e. neither "Select a Web Browser" nor "Custom Web Browser" if you choose a Custom Web Browser. The Command gets saved though. Selecting a web browser from the menu works. Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open the Preferred Applications dialog. 2. Select "Custom Web Browser" under the "Web Browser/Default Web Browser" tab. 3. Close the Preferred Applications dialog. 4. Open the Preferred Applications dialog and none of the radio-buttons are selected. Actual Results: None of the radio-buttons/choices are selected when re-opening the dialog. Expected Results: "Custom Web Browser" should be selected. How often does this happen? Every time.
