GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 13926
changed task names are written over current name
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Package: tasklist applet Severity: normal Version: 1.2.1 Synopsis: changed task names are written over current name Class: sw-bug Distribution: Debian 2.2 System: Linux 2.4.0-test1 i686 unknown C library: C library 2.1.3-10 C compiler: 2.95.2 glib: 1.2.8 GTK+: 1.2.8 ORBit: ORBit 0.5.1 gnome-libs: gnome-libs 1.2.1 libxml: 1.8.7 gnome-print: gnome-print-0.20 gnome-core: gnome-core 1.2.1 Description: I'm currently using the charlette gtk theme. Whenever a program decides to change its window title, instead of the the new title getting displayed on the task item, it writes the new title over the old; thus making it impossible to read the text. Moving a window over the task item causes it to refresh the item name, and as a result it clears the old goobley gock. ------- Bug moved to this database by debbugs-export@bugzilla.gnome.org 2001-01-27 16:57 ------- This bug was previously known as bug 13926 at http://bugs.gnome.org/ http://bugs.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=13926 Originally filed under the gnome-applets product and general component. I've seen another of these reports which doesn't specifically mention any theme, but I wonder whether this is theme-related. Moving to tasklist in case it isn't :)
I think it's theme related too. Please try to reproduce it with the "default" theme.
Moving reports from obsolete component 'tasklist' to 'general.
