Description Ivan Noris 2004-03-26 10:21:37 UTC
It would be great to have IPTC support in gthumb. EXIF is great, but this would
make gthumb even greater. Some JPG images contain text information embedded and
it can't be now :( The only tool I know which implements this is ImageMagick :(
Thanks.

I maintain a library, libiptcdata, for manipulating IPTC data. It's available
at http://libiptcdata.sourceforge.net/. Adding support to gthumb for IPTC data
using this library should be relatively straightforward. I may take a stab at
some patches to gthumb in the coming weeks.
