Description Paolo Borelli 2004-03-17 11:13:33 UTC
Start totem, resize the window by dragging one edge, close totem, restart
it: the window size is persisted properly.

Start totem, maximize the window, close totem, restart it: the window size
is the same as that of the maximized window, but the window is in a
unmaximazed state. Beside you cant resize the window to a smaller size by
dragging the edges.

Expected behaviour: totem should persist also the maximized/unmaximized
state beside the window size. If closed in maximized state, totem should
start up maximized, if then the user unmaximize the window totem should
resize to the last unmaximized dimension or, lacking one, to the default.

The fact that when started up totem can't be resized to a smaller size
seems like a separate bug. (should I file it in its own report?)

It's a session management problem, really.

Oh, ok... sorry for the dup.

The "can't resize to something smaller" though seems still a bug not
related to session management.
