Description Alban Browaeys 2004-02-21 21:38:40 UTC
Distribution: Debian testing/unstable
Package: gnome-games
Severity: normal
Version: GNOME2.4.1 unspecified
Gnome-Distributor: Debian
Synopsis: wrong behaaviour of the preference "kind of game" tab
Bugzilla-Product: gnome-games
Bugzilla-Component: gnobots2
Bugzilla-Version: unspecified
Description:
Description of Problem:

Whebever i start gnobots2 i can access the "Game" options . When i play
it s locked.
Problem is whenver i win a game a new one is started and there s no end
game button.
Thus i am unable to access the game option.

Alban

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Start a game
2. Open parameter 's menu and choose preferences
3. select the game tab.

Actual Results:
Game tab setup controls are disabled.

Expected Results:
An "end play" control or a break or ability to access the game option
until first move ... that does not seem easy to avoid a new control.

How often does this happen?

Yeah, I know. Gnobots needs a lot of love (the problems are deeply
ingrained it it's code). The plan is to do a major rewrite during the
2.7 time-frame.
Comment 2 Richard Hoelscher 2005-05-12 20:10:54 UTC
Michael Terry fixed this though his patch on Bug #87886 last month. You can now
change game types while playing gnobots and it will automatically switch to the
new game.
