Description Christian Persch 2004-02-11 13:59:23 UTC
From epiphany/po/tr.po:

#: embed/mozilla/mozilla-notifiers.cpp:730
msgid "system-language"
msgstr "sistem-dili"

Wrong. Please see the accompanying translator's comment. Should probably be
"tr" instead.

#: data/epiphany.schemas.in.h:72
#, fuzzy
msgid "x-western"
msgstr "Batı"

Should be "tr".

In the following instances, the quoted value is taken literally by the
program and must not be translated:

#: data/epiphany.schemas.in.h:29
msgid ""
"Paper type. Supported values are \"A4\", \"Letter\", \"Legal\" and "
"\"Executive\"."
msgstr ""
"Kağıt tipi. Desteklenen değerler \"A4\", \"Mektup\", \"Resmi\" ve \"İdari\"."
#: data/epiphany.schemas.in.h:63
msgid ""
"Where to accept cookies from. Possible values are \"anywhere\", \"current "
"site\" and \"nowhere\"."
msgstr ""
"Çerezlerin kabul edileceği yerler. Olası değerler \"heryer\", \"geçerli site"
"\" ve \"hiçbiryer\"."
Comment 1 Christian Persch 2004-03-08 13:39:15 UTC
The bug in the translation of the string with msgid "system-language" is a
critical bug. It will cause web page loads to fail in the default configuration
of Epiphany. Therefore this bug MUST be fixed for Epiphany 1.2 (tarballs will be
made ~ March 20).

We have reminded Erçin Eker <erc.caldera@gmx.net>, who is in charge
with Epiphany translation. Hopefully he'll get the fix together with
his latest changes in the po file, and Fatih/Gorkem will commit a fix.
Comment 3 Christian Rose 2004-03-09 09:56:03 UTC
This is a critical problem for users using GNOME in Turkish, and hence
it needs to be urgently fixed.

I'd recommend the others in the Turkish team to have a look at fixing
this yourself as soon as possible, should you not be able to contact
the individual translator responsible for the Epiphany translation (or
get a fix for this problem from this person) in the next few days.
Comment 4 Erçin EKER 2004-03-09 15:56:26 UTC
ok. i have updated my translation and sent to ml, one of the
maintainers will commit it soon.
Comment 5 Enver ALTIN 2004-03-10 10:39:52 UTC
Christian: Gorkem has committed the fix. Can you please close this?
Comment 6 Christian Rose 2004-03-10 21:38:08 UTC
Ok, closing this as resolved.
