GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 1330
wish list item: labels under application icons
Last modified: 2015-03-24 13:00:31 UTC
There are a number of machines I log into for various tasks. So I set up a drawer with application buttons in one of my panels. However, all the applications have the same xterm icon so I can't tell which one to hit. I have found that the hint shows up after a short duration. That works but I'd really like to be able to put a label below the icon in some cases. I thought of creating a unique icon for every machine I log into, but that makes updating my buttons cumbersome. Is having labels under icons possible? Or does it break some conventions? thanks Richard ------- Bug moved to this database by debbugs-export@bugzilla.gnome.org 2001-01-27 13:08 ------- This bug was previously known as bug 1330 at http://bugs.gnome.org/ http://bugs.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1330 Originally filed under the gnome-core product and panel component.
