Description codemstr 2004-01-24 20:11:36 UTC
Description of Problem:
When you open a menu, if you switch to another
application, or when you switch to another gimp
window, the menu remains open.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open gimp
2. Go to the file menu
3. Click inside another program (say a web
browser)

Actual Results:
At this point, the menu remains open even though
gimp is no longer the active application. To get
rid of the menu, you must either click the "-----
" so it opens as a seperate window then click
the X, or make gimp the active application and
click somewhere within the gimp window.

Expected Results:
I'd expect gimp to detect that it is no longer
the active application and close its menus.

How often does this happen?
Everytime

Additional Information:

Closing of menus is handled entirely by GTK+, reassigning this bug.

Bug was originally reported against GIMP2.0pre2.
