Description of the crash:
After a normal editing session, everything is ok you saveyour files and
close gedit...
in few seconds a window appears saying that gedit died. 
It's not perturbing in any way my work but it's very unpleasant.

Steps to reproduce the crash:
1.  open gedit
2. edit a file 
3. close a gedit

Expected Results:
die

How often does this happen?
in last 2 weeks, almost everytime i use gedit

Thanks for the bug report. Unfortunately, that stack trace is not very
useful in determining the cause of the crash.  Please make sure that
the package was compiled with debugging symbols and see
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/getting-traces.cgi for more information
about useful stack traces.

This seems a duplicate of bug #110280.

From bug #110280:

I would urge all users still having the
problem to build the latest gedit-2.4.1 from ports (along with the
other dependency bits), and see if the problem persists.  If it does,
have them add:

CFLAGS= -O -g -pipe
STRIP=

To /etc/make.conf, and rebuild gedit.  Then we should be able to run
gedit within gdb, and get a usable stack trace with symbols.

Please, reopen this bug if you will be able to get a better stack trace.
