GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 131512
Dragging and Dropping broken
Last modified: 2007-08-18 00:50:11 UTC
Dragging an email address from gnomecard into the To: field of balsa's message composer causes the email address to be inserted twice. The same is true of the Cc:, Bcc:, etc. fields. In addition, dragging and dropping text into the message field causes the text to appear twice. The Subject: field is the only field that does not display this behavior. When an email address is dragged and dropped into balsa, balsa receives two drag_data_received signals and (for example) gnomecard receives two drag_data_get signals. This causes the related callback functions to execute TWICE resulting in a double drop of the email address. This message seems to present a similar problem, but I can't find any resolution: http://mail.gnome.org/archives/gtk-list/2002-August/msg00320.html This bug is in balsa 2.0.15 and 2.1.0.
This bug is still in balsa 2.1.91.
This bug is fixed in balsa 2.3.17.
