GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 130813
Download doesn't track correctly
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Distribution: Debian testing/unstable Package: galeon Severity: minor Version: GNOME 2 . 5 . 2 1.3.11 Gnome-Distributor: GARNOME Synopsis: Download doesn't track correctly Bugzilla-Product: galeon Bugzilla-Component: general Bugzilla-Version: 1.3.11 Description: Description of Problem: When downloading an item and stalling while looking on the filesystem for where to place the finished download, the download continues while you pause. If you wait for a while, the estimated time remaining and the subsequent download rate are skewed. The download manager should track the download from when the download starts rather than when the user finishes selecting a placement on the filesystem. Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. download a file (preferably large) 2. pause a minute or two Actual Results: the download rate is much higher than you would expect and that the time remaining is far off. Expected Results: the download rate should be something reasonable, and time remaining should also be correct How often does this happen? always Additional Information: I'm a nit picker ------- Bug moved to this database by unknown@bugzilla.gnome.org 2004-01-07 16:03 ------- Reassigning to the default owner of the component, galeon-maint@bugzilla.gnome.org.
