Description Chandrashekhar. Korlahalli 2004-01-01 13:56:02 UTC
. Character table row contents are read continuously till the end of
character in that row.
Steps:

a. start gnopernicus & wait till you hear the sound.

b. start character map from applications menu.

c. Use Tab key for navigation. Navigate the focus on to character table.

d. Use arrow keys to move focus on to letters.

For ex, the letter ‘F’. Now, it starts reading from F to O consecutively.
Also, for each of the character, the screen reader reads the character,
its code, language, capital/small & the character itself (E.x. For the
character ‘H’, it reads – U+0048 LATIN CAPITAL LETTER H)

It would be nice if only the focused letter accessible description alone
is read out by the screen reader.
