Description chris 2003-12-19 00:53:36 UTC
I would like the ability to dynamically switch playlists at a scheduled
time for a preselected number of songs. Playback should not be interrupted
during a song, song changes only occur at the end of a song. Also, there
should be tolerance allowed for the time of day. i.e., if I setup RB to
play a song for a specified playlist at 17:00:00 and a song ends at
16:59:05, go ahead and start the special playlist. Also, the number of
songs and/or the amount of time to play the alternate playlist should be
selectable. Once the time/number of songs has expired, go back to playing
the original playlist.

Evolution has something like this for notifications/reminders.

Your issue is partially adressed by the que, but timed playback will need some work.

What is the opinion on this, doable?
