GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 128994
Occasional Crash when Resizing Window
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Package: gnome-terminal Severity: major Version: 2.0.1 Synopsis: Occasional Crash when Resizing Window Bugzilla-Product: gnome-terminal Bugzilla-Component: general BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.0.3) Description: Description of Problem: All gnome-terminal sessions crash when one of the windows is resized. Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Resize window. 2. All gnome-terminals abort. 3. Actual Results: Bad things. Expected Results: Good things. Ideally only a single gnome-terminal would crash, and not all of them. It is very frustrating having 20 some windows open and losing them all because one resized and crashed. How often does this happen? Daily, but I use Gnome exclusively for about 12 hours a day. Additional Information: Debugging Information: Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/gnome-terminal' (no debugging symbols found)...0x408f3877 in waitpid () from /lib/i686/libpthread.so.0
