Description Joao Victor 2003-12-07 21:56:13 UTC
* Description of Problem:

GEdit has the ability to save files in different char encodings, which is nice; but imagine the following situation:

- Joe-user wants to send his txt file (made with GEdit) to his friend using Windows.

- Joe, obviously, doesn't know which char-encoding Windows uses. So how is his friend going to see the file properly?

* Suggestion:

It would be nice if there was an "Export file to Windows/DOS Enviroment" feature.
