Description TechChiq 2003-12-02 13:25:20 UTC
To duplicate:

1. Start to create a new gradient.

2. Right Click and change the Foreground or background color:
Either click on Load Left Color From or Load Right Color From
Then choose either FG or BG

3. Save the gradient

4. Change the foreground and/or background color (depending on what
you changed in Step 2. Ie. if you have it load from FG then change
the foreground color in Gimp's toolbox).

The gradient does not pick up the foreground and/or background color, just
keeps the same color it was created with.

GIMP doesn't support such dynamic gradients; thus the behaviour you
see is correct.

You could file an enhancement request asking to add this functionality.
Comment 2 TechChiq 2003-12-02 15:12:25 UTC
Thanks, Sven... I'll resubmit it as an enhancement request.
