Description Dave O 2003-11-07 18:06:21 UTC
When I have several windows open on different workspaces and switch between
workspaces, and then cycle windows on the new desktop, the outline of a
window that is not on that workspace will sometimes appear. If I stop
cycling at that point, the window from the other workspace (typically the
one I was on last) will be moved to the current workspace. It doesn't
happen all the time, and in general, newly created windows seem more
susceptible but that doesn't seem to be set in stone.

I switched cycle_windows and switch_windows in the keybindings so that
Alt-Tab would raise the windows. I don't think that has anything to do
with this bug but I thought I'd mention it

Additionally, I have Alt-1 - Alt-4 being the keybindings to switch workspaces

If you could come up with a way to reproduce this reliably using the
very latest metacity we might be able to actually fix this bug.
