Can't delete menu item from Menu Bar
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Package: gnome-panel Severity: trivial Version: 2.4.1 Synopsis: Can't delete menu item from Menu Bar Bugzilla-Product: gnome-panel Bugzilla-Component: Panel Description: Description of Problem: In the gnome-panel, with the Menu Bar added to the panel, in the bottom of the menu bar when expanded after a mouse click on the icon, I have an menu item 'Debian Menu' after a seperator bar, this menu item I cannot delete it. I want to delete it. Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Default installation from Debian unstable as of Oct 27. The problem is there for some months for me already. Actual Results: The menu item is there forever and ever. Expected Results: I want to delete the menu item. How often does this happen? It's been there ever since I started to use this system in earlier this year. Additional Information: Of course I could let it be, but I just want to delete it right now. I can easily delete other menu items which are above the seperator bar in the menu. I just cannot delete this one under the seperator bar. ------- Bug moved to this database by unknown@bugzilla.gnome.org 2003-10-26 13:25 ------- Reassigning to the default owner of the component, gnome-panel-maint@bugzilla.gnome.org.
This problem seems to be specific to Debian GNOME packages, so please, report it at http://bugs.debian.org Thanks
Hrm... It's the distribution menu. Is it used by other packagers? If so, it may be useful to add a gconf key. I'm reopening for the moment.
