Description thomas.lotze 2003-09-11 10:02:12 UTC
Currently, whole threads containing an article that matches some filter
condition can be watched or ignored automatically through filter rules.

It would be helpful if this feature was enhanced in two ways:

- Beside watching and ignoring, general scoring (increasing/decreasing the
score of all articles in the thread by or setting it to some value) should
be applicable.

- Besides affecting the score of articles in the whole thread, the filter
rule should be able to act only on the subthread starting with the matching
article. This would allow, for instance, watching replies to one's own
postings in the middle of some thread without having to watch all other
branches of that thread.
