Since the debian xscreensaver doesn't integrate into the controlpanel, and
I want it to, I have started building it with this garfile

Sorry, definitely not including xscreensaver in GARNOME. Have looked into it before, 
and it's not worth it. Ask jwz why xscreensaver sucks outside default $prefix. :-)

(Debian's xscreensaver appears in the prefs menus for me, btw.)
