Description John Hardin 2003-09-10 15:22:56 UTC
Galeon is the default browser app for Ximian Desktop.

I have it configured to use an automatic proxy configuration script.

When I click on a URL in a mail message in Evolution, Galeon is launched
but I do not see the web page - the proxy settings are not properly configured.

Clicking [ENTER] in the URL field re-queries the page with the proxy
settings configured, and the page renders.

I don't know if this is a dupe of the other ignoring-auto-proxy-on-startup
bug reports, or is a special case that the fix did not address, as running
"galeon http://www.somewhere.com/" does indeed work properly through the
proxy the first time.

Bug 99923 mentions race condition which could explain the difference between
evolution and command line.
