Description Christian Rose 2003-08-11 15:34:54 UTC
#: gkb-new/descs.sun/presets.xml.in.h:4 gkb-new/descs/presets.xml.in.h:9
msgid "Azerbaidjan"

#: gkb-new/descs.sun/presets.xml.in.h:5 gkb-new/descs/presets.xml.in.h:10
msgid "Azerbaidjani Turkic"

#: gkb-new/descs.sun/presets.xml.in.h:6
msgid "Azerbaidjani Turkic Sun keymap"

I believe the common English spellings are "Azerbaijan" and "Azerbaijani".
Additionally, "Turkic" should probably be "Turkish".
Comment 1 Christian Rose 2003-08-11 16:27:25 UTC
Also applies to

#: gkb-new/descs/presets.xml.in.h:11
msgid "Azerbaidjani Turkic xkb keymap"

patch to fix keymap file typos
Comment 3 Dafydd Harries 2003-08-12 21:56:55 UTC
The above patch against HEAD fixes the Azerbaijani typos, plus
"Marocco" and "Portuglese". Suggest making priority higher since we
are in the string freeze and there is a patch and it will help
translation teams get translations ready for 2.4.

Fix the "Serb" -> "Serbian" typos
Comment 5 Danilo Segan 2003-08-13 00:36:38 UTC
The above patch also fixes the "Serb" typo which should be "Serbian".
I'll attach a unified patch below which fixes all of these together.

I suggest also changing the "short_desc" field to:
"Azerbaidjan", "Portuglese", "Marocco", "Serb" typos in gnome-applets

Fix "Azerbaidjani", "Portuglese", "Marocco" and "Serb" typos
Comment 7 Danilo Segan 2003-10-05 10:15:46 UTC
Now that gnome-applets has branched, can we have this fixed? (I'm
volunteering to fix all of these)

Metin, could you provide some more info about Azerbaijani spellings if
anything above is incorrect?
Comment 8 Metin Amiroff 2003-10-05 11:50:50 UTC
Well, Azerbaijani related stings should go like "Azerbaijani" as
language or keyboard layout and "Azerbaijan" as a country name. Note
that "Azerbaijani Turkish" or "Azerbaijani Turkic" is not formal but
it's OK to use "Azerbaijani Turkish" when needed to point out its'
turkness :)
Thanks.

I'm adding the PATCH keyword and upgrading the priority level to High
because of the attached patches.
Comment 10 Kevin Vandersloot 2004-01-05 15:19:45 UTC
Danilo: Please commit your fixes. Thanks for doing these.
Comment 11 Danilo Segan 2004-01-06 05:46:02 UTC
Fixed in CVS HEAD.

Someone with enough Bugzilla privileges will have to mark this as
RESOLVED/FIXED, if they agree.

Thanks.
Comment 12 Christian Rose 2004-01-06 11:41:23 UTC
Ok, marking as resolved.
