Description Eugene O'Connor 2003-08-06 13:25:22 UTC
At the moment in the documentation and in the GDSG we refer to the menu
that you get when you click on the icon at the top left of a window as the
Window Menu.

When what is now the Window Menu applet was on the Menu Panel, we referred
to it as the window list icon - it shows a list of your windows. But we
already have a Window List applet.

Some suggestions for a new name:

- List Windows applet
- View Windows applet
- Display Windows applet

None of these names really leap out, but I think that the first most
accurately describes the functionality.

Come to think of it, doesn't this just do the same as the Window List
applet, except in a slightly different way? So are we adding unnecessarily
to the learning burden for new users? I think we should reconsider
including this applet.
