Description Žygimantas Augilius 2003-07-22 15:39:43 UTC
Using Debian Woody, Gnome 2.2 environment, with notification area applets
ver. 2.2.2.1

I have 2 monitors, no Xinerama. Each monitor has its own panel with
notification area applets.

I'm unable to use applications with notification area on the second
monitor. After I launch application, which should use notification area,
icons appears in the separate window instead of the notification area
applet on the second monitor.

After failure to use notification area on the second monitor, applications
on my primary monitor do not use notification area as well. In order to
restore notification functionality, i have to remove applet from the panel,
kill gconfd-2 and add applet again.

Tested notification area with gabber v0.8.8, gaim v0.64 applications.
