Gnome-terminal crashes when resizing window

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open a gnome-terminal 
2. Connect via ssh to a remote linux machine
3. Open Pine
4. Resize the window

Actual Results:
Gnome-terminal crashes

Expected Results:
Gnome-terminal should allow resizing the window.

How often does this happen?
Always

Additional Information:
Local machine is running Redhat 8.0 with all redhat updates to date.
Gnome-terminal is version 2.0.1
