Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Package: gnome-terminal Severity: normal Version: 2.0.1 Synopsis: gnome-terminal crashes often when resizing Bugzilla-Product: gnome-terminal Bugzilla-Component: general BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.0.3) Description: Description of Problem: quite often when I try to resize the gnome-terminal window it crashes. Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. I ussually have about 4 gnome terminals open 2. I'm ussually using pine or mutt in 2 of them , sometimes running pico as the subprocess 3. I resize one of the windows, then I get the message "Application "gnome-termina" (process xxx) has crashed due to fatal eror. (Aborted) maybe I should also add that I am using multiple display support - i.e. I have 2 monitors on this computer on 1 video card. actaully it's a laptop displaying to both the built in and external monitor at the same time. i.e. extended desktop not displaying the same things. Actual Results: all windows crash and process dies Expected Results: for it to resize properly How often does this happen? almost every other time I try it. Additional Information: Debugging Information: Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/gnome-terminal' (no debugging symbols found)...[New Thread 8192 (LWP 1011)] 0x420ae169 in wait4 () from /lib/i686/libc.so.6
