Description Murray Cumming 2003-07-14 06:55:53 UTC
Shouldn't the [Open Font Folder] button be on the first window rather than
in the details window for a specific font? It's about all fonts, not any
particular one.
Comment 1 Andreas Köhler 2003-07-30 01:27:01 UTC
Hey, I like that umbrella idea :-)

So this cannot be that hard. Here is my version of a patch to move the
button. I hope I get it right...

btw why windows?

patch to move the button
Comment 3 Murray Cumming 2003-07-30 05:48:58 UTC
Added PATCH keyword.
Comment 4 Jody Goldberg 2003-07-30 13:44:48 UTC
Seems reasonable. If the release team is ok with the ui change it can
go in.
Comment 5 Murray Cumming 2003-07-30 13:53:47 UTC
Yes. Consider this ui-review bug-fixing that can be done before
August 4th.
Comment 6 Andrew Sobala 2003-09-04 19:53:12 UTC
This missed the boat and is punted to 2.5.
Comment 7 Andy Piper 2004-06-01 09:14:09 UTC
Did this get into 2.6? (still running 2.4 here)
It is a really weird place to have to navigate to in order to install fonts.
Comment 8 dowem 2004-09-08 17:52:22 UTC
Just to update the bug for Andy, this is still valid as of a week before the
gnome 2.8 release.
Comment 9 Vincent Noel 2004-10-14 17:08:34 UTC
This patch (attachment 18741 [details] [review]) does not apply to CVS anymore.
Andreas, can you come up with a new patch ? Thanks !
Comment 10 Jody Goldberg 2004-10-20 22:16:58 UTC
Given the plans for 2.10 I don't see a need to bother with this. The UI is
going to be changing as the apperance capplets merge.
Comment 11 Elijah Newren 2004-10-27 16:39:01 UTC
Marking as WONTFIX based on Jody's comments. Jody: Kick me if I misinterpreted
what you said and shouldn't have done this.
