Description joshg 2003-07-02 22:26:17 UTC
I just installed 0.6.2 and tried to play an MPG video file in gst-player...
the frame rate and the audio playback rate, though in sync, were far too
fast, by two or three times...

I'm using RH9 + XD2 on a laptop with a P3 Coppermine 1GHz with SpeedStep...

This sounds like either a buggy sound card driver or buggy MPEG. Can
you post a link to the MPEG file? If it is large, you can cut out the
first megabyte or so using 'dd if=input.mpg of=output.mpg bs=1M count=1'.

We need more information before attempting to fix this bug.

might also be speedstep messing with the clock.
reporter, please comment.
