GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 116180
gnome-themes-extras Gorilla error
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Every time I execute an application from terminal I see this error: /usr/share/themes/Gorilla/gtk-2.0/iconrc:175: error: invalid string constant "gorilla-default", expected valid string constant I'm using the Gorilla GNOME theme. The applications seems to work right so I don't know if the error is affecting the application view.
It's already fixed with Debian SID release, but I don't think it's also fixed upstream... Here you have the Debian's change: The last gnome-themes-extras/Gorilla/gtk-2.0/iconrc.in's line -class "GtkWidget" style "gorilla-default" +class "GtkWidget" style "capplet-icons"
why capplet-icons ?
I think that it's because it's the name for the style that it's defined just before that line....
This probably should be assigned to the gnome-themes-extras component. the reported problem still exists in the gnome-themes-extras-0.5 release. Currently Gentoo implements the same workaround as Debian.
true, just changing it. I think that module is new, I was looking for it when I filled the bug report and I didn't found it.
Fix merged upstream. Thanks for the report. Will be in next release.
