GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 116176
"Install Theme button" not logical UI
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Description of Problem: When selecting Details, there is the button "Install Theme", as well as "Open Theme directory". When I have the tab "Window Border" or "Windows Content" (maybe not correctly translated from german) selected, the "Open theme directory" button will point to ~/.themes. This is ok. When I have "Icons" selected, "Open theme directory" will point to ~/.icons. This is ok, as well. BUT: The "Install theme" button will always install a theme to ~/.themes . This is confusing. It should install an icon theme to ~./icons. (As this will actually work). Even, if the button is supposed to always install t ~/.themes, then "Open themes directory" has to point to that directory as well, always. Otherwise one could think the "Open themes directory" button belongs to the tab currently selected, while the "Install theme" does not. This is simply unlogical. UI bug.
