Hi,

First, I use Gimp 1.2.3 on Linux and MSWin.

But, on Linux version, I can't find the function which counts the number 
of colour in the picture.

Hope this function will be fast. On MSWin, this function is a little slow 
compare to Irfanview or Paint Shop Pro.

According to the description, this looks very similar to the feature
described in bug #51563.

Hi,

First, excuse me if I make a mistake, I use French UI.

On MSWin Gimp 1.2.3 only, this function is accessable with 
picture/colour/colorcube analysis.

But maybe it should be in information windows.

NOTA : I copy this info in bug 51563.
