Gnome Terminal crashes when quickly resizing with active pager running

Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. less <filename> (man will also work, as will other pager-like programs) 2. quickly resize the window vertically (top or bottom) 3. Actual Results: Before the pager or application catches up with the new size of the window, gnome-terminal crashes Expected Results: Pager resizes showing more of the text, moving status lines to bottom (or whatever is appropriate). Gnome terminal should never crash. How often does this happen? 100% reproducible Additional Information: Reproducible on Stock Redhat 8.0 (and up2date Redhat 8 at 2003/05/05) on many different machines. Debugging Information: Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/gnome-terminal' (no debugging symbols found)...[New Thread 8192 (LWP 1572)] 0x420ae169 in wait4 () from /lib/i686/libc.so.6
