Description Johan 2003-04-17 19:13:38 UTC
The upgrade from 0.13.9x (think 93) changed how the author column in header
view is justfied. It used to be left justified, showing you the beginning
of each name. In 0.13.94 it is right justified, showing you the tail.

While right justification is interesting, it is not that useful. I would
prefer left justification.

Apologies if this is on purpose, and I'm understanding the design criteria.
Comment 1 Charles Kerr 2003-04-17 19:37:39 UTC
Looks like this might be a bug in reordering the header pane columns.
Comment 2 Johan 2003-04-17 19:42:43 UTC
yes, I did reorder them to put the score last. Sorry. That slipped my
mind. I'm not at my machine now, so can't tell you whether this occurs
before such a reordering. However, it DOES occur afterwards.
Comment 3 Charles Kerr 2003-04-24 21:05:53 UTC
Mind the gap.

Comment 5 Charles Kerr 2003-07-30 05:55:19 UTC
Confirmed -- if you move the author column up to where the
score column was, then the author names are right-justified.

However, if you restart Pan after this, then the author
names are left-justified the way they should be.

So the problem is transient, that the header pane
isn't refreshing its properties after the user swaps the
columns around.

So, this is a duplicate of #112808
