Status picture sometimes doesn't open in GNOME notification area, instead
it opens in new window. It'a annoying. It happens sometimes. I can't find
way to reproduce it.

I did some research and I think it's general GNOME error.

I have dual monitor setup, when I don't use Xinerama X11 extensions,
GNOME opens 2 main toolbars one on first monitor and one on second
monitor. I can't drag windows from one monitor to another. With this
setup all GNOME aplications that use notification area have problems
using notification area on monitor 1, usualy they open status icon in
extra small window in the center of the screen, not in notification
area. This happens both with GNOME ICU and GAIM. When I use Xinerama
X11 extension and I have only one main toolbar (with gnome sign) on
first monitor and no toolbar on second monitor, applications have no
problems with notification area, status icon always shows in
notification area. It never opens in small window.

So I think error is somewhere in GNOME libraries.

the notification area is part of libegg for now. moving bug to there.
Btw, we use the latest version of the client systray code from libegg
as of two weeks ago..

The code was broken back then and should be fixed now.
