Description of Problem:
The focus of a gnome-terminal tab has some problems 

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. start gnome-terminal
2. create a new tab
3. double-click on it
4. see that there is no ability to return the
focus to the terminal input.
5. add or remove a tab will return the focus to
the terminal input of another tab

How often does this happen? 
everytime
