Description Stefan Rieken 2003-03-26 12:26:07 UTC
Hello,

I'm having trouble with GIMP 1.3.13 and have been having trouble with
1.3.12 and my Wacom tablet. It is a serial Wacom Graphire. I have no mouse
attached to my system other than the Wacom tablet mouse.

After an update of Debian unstable to GIMP 1.3.12, the system didn't
recognize the tablet anymore. I tried to reconfigure it (File ->
Preferences -> Input devices).

The system says it recognizes both eraser and stylus as input devices. The
Wacom mouse ('cursor') is not in this list. When trying to select another
option from either the input devices list or the mode list ('screen',
'window', etc.), GIMP crashes.

The stable version of the GIMP works well with my tablet. Removing my
gimp-1.3 directory didn't help.

Below follows a stack trace of a crash after the input device list selection:

--------
gimp-1.3: fatal error: Segmentatie fout
gimp-1.3 (pid:1197): [E]xit, [H]alt, show [S]tack trace or [P]roceed: s

You could have saved yourself (and us) some time by looking into
Bugzilla first and check if the bug has been reported before.
